Most of the papers relate to the tenure of George Dewey Clyde ( See also, MS 176, Papers of George D. Clyde) who served as Dean of the School of Engineering from 1938 to 1945. Clyde became a member of the Utah State Agricultural College (USAC) faculty in 1923
