Professor of marketing, agricultural administrator.
Maurice Bond received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Vermont in 1920 and 1925, and his Ph. D. from Cornell in 1928. He taught in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy at the New York State School of Agriculture at Morrisville from 1920 to 1922; was manager of the New York Holstein-Friesian Association, 1923-1924; from 1924 to 1925 was a research fellow at the University of Vermont; taught agricultural economics at the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell, 1926-1954; served as director of the New York State Cooperative Extension, 1954-1962; and was named professor emeritus in 1962.
