Biographical notes:
Presbyterian Minister.
John Lyle came to Kentucky circa 1800. By 1806 he and his brother Joel Reid Lyle had established themselves in Paris, Kentucky. The father of both was John Lyle (1746-1815), a Virginia clergyman.
