Represented are Judah Hays (1703-1764) and his son, Moses Michael Hays (1739-1805), merchants in New York, N.Y.; Samuel Myers (1755-1836), merchant in Norfolk and Richmond, Va.; Jacob Mordecai (1762-1838) of Warrenton, N.C.; his daughters, Rachael (Mordecai) Lazarus (1789-1838), Eliza Kennon (Mordecai) Myers (1809-1861), and Caroline (Mordecai) Plunkett (1794-1862); and his granddaughter, Caroline (Myers) Cohen (1844-1928).
