Biographical notes:
St Mary's Church, Middle Swan, was consecrated in 1848. A new building was consecrated in 1869. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.
