Born in Victoria in 1910. Educated at Coburg High School, George Taylor Coaching College and Melbourne University, 1946-1954. Senior Research Officer of the Federal Secretariat of the Australian Liberal Party, 1955-1960. Manager of the Department of Economic Research of W.D. and H.O. Wills (Aust.) Ltd, 1960-. Director of British Tobacco Co. (Aust.) Ltd, 1964-. Sales and Advertising Director of W.D. and H.O. Wills (Aust.) Ltd, 1940-1944. R.A.A.F. Flight-Lt. Navigator. Served in Australia, Singapore, and the Pacific. Died in 1972.
