Biographical notes:

The Utah Copper Co. was organized in 1903 by Daniel C. Jackling. It was one of the first endeavors to mine copper in Bingham Canyon, Utah. In 1910 it merged with Boston Consolidated Mining Company, and in 1936 was acquired by Kennecott Mines Company.

The Utah Copper Company was organized in 1904 after preliminary mining exploration in Bingham, Utah, by Daniel C. Jackling. Jackling became president of the company when it was formed.
