John Woods Countryman, Republican, member of the Illinois House of Representatives, 1984-1990, from DeKalb County.
He was a member of the following committees: Elections, Higher Education, Judiciary I and II, Horse Racing, Election Law, Cities and Villages, and Appropriations II. He was also a member of the Legislative Space Needs Commission in 1985-86 and Co-Chair of the Joint Committee of Administrative Rules in 1989-90.
