Biographical notes:
The Beilstein-Young Company of Cleveland, Ohio was a funeral home firm. Fred Beilstein operated as an undertaker at 3311 Prospect Avenue as early as 1907, and in 1913 the Beilstein-Young Company was incorporated. The funeral home was located at 7508 Carnegie Ave. from 1918-1921. The firm moved to 1795 Crawford Rd. in 1921. Fred Beilstein died in 1926, and his partner William W. Young became president and treasurer, with W.E. Beilstein as vice president.
