Cheiro (psuedonym for Louis Hamon, or William John Warner), born 1866 in Ireland, died 1936 in Hollywood. Celebrated palmist who read the palms of such celebrities as Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Edison, and American President Grover Cleveland. Predicted the fates of various members of 19th and 20th Century European royalty.

Samuel Sydney McClure, born 1857, died 1949. Editor, publisher, founder of McClure's Magazine.
