Biographical notes:
The "War comes to America!" lecture series were presented at Northrop Auditorium between January 9 and March 6, 1942. Each of the lectures were broadcast by University of Minnesota radio station WLB and rebroadcast by WCCO radio. A total of 17 lectures were delivered by 9 University of Minnesota faculty members: Lawrence D. Steefel, Harold S. Quigley, Samuel N. Dicken, Lennox A. Mills, Lester B. Shippee, Joseph Rankin Starr, Harold C. Deutsch, Arthur W. Marget and Ralph H. Brown.
