Biographical notes:
Herman L. Moekle joined Ford Motor Company in 1913 at the Pittsburgh branch Accounting Department. After serving at various positions with the Pittsburgh, Trenton, and St. Louis branches, he transferred to the Auditing Department at Highland Park in 1918. In 1920 he was placed in charge of the Legal Tax Department. He served as head of the Auditing Department from 1928 until his appointment to assistant secretary in 1941. Moekle was appointed corporate secretary on June 1, 1943 to succeed B.J. Craig. He served as corporate secretary until 1946 when he was appointed vice-president of finance.
