Martin Alexander was born in Berlin, Germany, on 16 Feb 1920. Along with his wife, Ruth, he was captured and moved to Birkenau in Feb 1943. He escaped from Nazi capture at an airfield in Ganacker, Germany. He emigrated to the United States in 1949. Alexander presently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
