No information is available on Wilmanns. Cass served as Governor of Michigan, 1813-1831, U.S. Senator from Michigan, 1845-1857, Brig. Gen. of the 27th Infantry, Ohio Volunteers, Minister (Ambassador) to France, 1836-1842, and Secretary of State under Pres. Buchanan, 1857-1860.
