Immanuel Lutheran Church (Moses Lake, Wash.)

Biographical notes:

Immanuel Lutheran Church was formally organized on October 24, 1948 with 22 charter members. Services had been held prior to that in the Ritz Theater, conducted by Rev. Raymond Pflueger of Ephrata. Rev. Chester Patton was installed as the first pastor on November 14, 1948. On April 30, 1950, the parsonage was dedicated. The Parish Education building was dedicated September 6, 1953. Due to considerable growth more facilities were needed. A basement was built in 1957 which was intended for Sunday School, and also to be the foundation for the church. The present church was dedicated November 4, 1962.
