Waldo Wold (b. January 1912) enlisted in the Navy to serve as a chaplain on a transport ship. He was a lieutenant commander at the end of the war and stayed in the reserves. He is a "plank owner," and was the minister for St. Mark's Parish in Madison, Wis..
