Northwest Mining Association (U. S.)

Biographical notes:

The Northwest Mining Association (NWMA) was organized in Spokane in 1895 and has served as a lobbying and information organization in support of the mining and smelting interests of the Inland Empire. The Association, through research and the publication of its bulletins, monitors and interprets national, state, and local legislation that creates an impact on the mining and metallurgy industry.
