Quill Club of Australia.

Biographical notes:

The Quill Club of Australia was founded in 1935 by the author Bernard Cronin for the purposes of the advancement of the interests of practising writers, and to study the work of authors, particularly that of the members of the Club. After World War Two, Bernard Cronin's writing course was one of the after-war rehabilitation classes and from amongst his pupils many new Quill Club members were gained. However, the Club ceased existence in 1972 due to lack of support from members. The complete Quill Club archives were gained by the La Trobe Library on 11 October 1972.
