Biographical notes:
Frank Peter Clark was born in Mass. in 1924 and enlisted in the Army on Feb. 9, 1943 at Fresno, Calif. At the time of enlistment he was single and had completed four years of high school. Clark joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. and was assigned to Company D of the 86th Infantry Regiment and later served with Headquarters, 86th Infantry; and Headquarters and Company C of the 85th Infantry Regiment. After transfer to Camp Swift, Tex., Clark transferred out of the 10th Mountain Division and was sent to the Pacific Theater of operations. He died on Sept. 9, 2003 in Bakersfield, Calif.
