Boyle, Henry Green, 1824-1908.
Biographical notes:
Mormon pioneer and missionary. Boyle grew up in Virginia and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He live in Nauvoo, Illinois, joined the "Mormon Battalion" to serve in the war with Mexico (1846-1848), settled in Ogden, Utah, and went on roughly fourteen missions in various places in the United States. Most of these missions were to the Southern States where he was mission president from 1875 to 1878.
