Whaling vessel; out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Jonathan Chase, on voyage from 1 Aug. 1870-3 Oct. 1872, to the Western, Tristan, Delagoa Bay, Mahe Banks, and Madagascar whaling grounds; owner-agent: J. & W.R. Wing & Co.; built at Rochester, Mass., 1846; condemned at Mahé, 1872.
