Biographical notes:

Clampitt (1928- ) served in the 88th Division with the Army of Occupation in Italy, Company K, 34th of the 24th Infantry Division during the Korean War and as an advisor in Vietnam with 52 ARVN Ranger Battalion and S2 for the Phoenix Committee. He retired in 1971 and became a police officer for seventeen years before retiring from that in 1990.
