Ridenour, James M.
Biographical notes:
James M. Ridenour was born and raised in Wabash County Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Recreation Administration in 1964 and 1965. After serving as Director of the State of Indiana's Department of Natural Resources, 1981-1989 he was appointed Director of the National Parks Service and served from April 1989 to January 1993 under the George H. Bush administration.
