H. Stuart Copeland was Historian for the second Arizona Rangers group when it reorganized in 1957. The Arizona Rangers were organized, 1901-1909, to combat organized banditry in Arizona Territory. The Rangers were reorganized in 1957 to assist law enforcement agencies and provide community service.
