Biographical notes:

William Harling ("Hod") Davolt, from Catlin, Washington, attended Oregon Agricultural College from 1904 to 1908 and earned a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1908. He was a distance runner and set college records in the mile run and cross country. Davolt attended Oregon Agricultural College as a graduate student during the 1909/10 academic year and subsequently returned to Washington where he was an electrician (1913); an employee of the County Auditor's Office in Kalama, Washington (1917); and worked on the King Creek Poultry Farm in Kelso, Washington (1920s).
