Biographical notes:
The company was incorporated in Michigan on January 1, 1857. On August 31, 1900 it was conveyed to Flint and Pere Marquette Railroad Company.
Consolidated with Flint and Holly Rail Road Company to form Flint and Pere Marquette Railway Company on September 2, 1868. Entered into receivership on June 27, 1879. Was sold under foreclosure to a Bondholders Protective Committee August 18, 1880.
