Rena Maverick Green (1874-1962) was a historian, artist, suffragette, conservationist and civic leader. Born in Missouri, she moved to San Antonio, Texas, in 1896. She was an active member of the community. In 1924, she helped found the San Antonio Conservation Society and served as its president from 1933 to 1935.
