Stephen Graham was born in 1884, the son of Anderson Graham. As a world traveler who felt especially drawn to Russia and Central Europe, he wrote more than fifty books. Many of these were direct narratives and descriptive accounts of his experiences. Stephen Graham married Vera Mitrinovic in 1956, after the death of his first wife, Rosa Savory.
