Biographical notes:
Resident of Portland, Me., and graduate of Portland High School and Gorham Normal School; teacher and educator; name was honored with the opening of the Gertrude Prinn Media Center at Portland's Reiche Elementary School; recipient of Deborah Morton Award, presented annually by Westbrook College (later part of the University of New England).
