The Oberlin Historical and Improvement Organization (O.H.I.O.) is a private organization located in the city of Oberlin, Ohio. It was established in 1964 through the merger of two other local organizations, the Oberlin Village Improvement Society and the Oberlin Historical Society. The Oberlin Village Improvement Society emerged as a result of the early 20th century "City Beautiful" movement. The present organization administers several historical properties and participates in local preservation iniatives. In 1988 O.H.I.O. endowed the Frederick B. Artz summer travel grant program at the Oberlin College Archives to support scholars researching topics related to Oberlin.
