Whaling vessel; out of New Bedford, Mass.; mastered by William J. Taber and then Thomas Chapman, on voyage from 1 Aug. 1860-23 Apr. 1865; owner-agent: B.F. Howland; built as bark at Newburyport, Mass., 1832; altered back to bark, 1865.
