Pastoralist, company director and politician. Arrived in W.A. in 1864 as member of the Camden Harbour Pastoralist Co. in partnership with New and Hean. Overlanded stock from Geraldton to Ashburton, etc. in 1866, pioneering the stock route to the North West.
