Biographical notes:
Educator, lawyer, and poet, born in West Barnstable (Mass.) in 1878. Taught at Osterville Grammar School until going blind in 1901. Attended Boston University Law School and practiced law in Barnstable. Served as County Commissioner on Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and Hyannis Board of Trade.
