Biographical notes:
Family of New England and South Carolina. Nathaniel Coggeshall (1765-1833), a native of Newport, R.I., married Rebecca Cahoone (1767-1848) and moved to Darlington County, S.C. His brother was Peter Coggeshall (1758-1795).
