Corley, Elayne Williams
Biographical notes:
Elayne Williams Corley (1903-1969) was known for her activities with women's organizations. She served as president and treasurer of the Manhattan section of the National Council of Negro Women; president for three terms of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority New York chapter and was vice president at the time of her death. She was also one of the representatives to the Non-Governmental Organizations section of the United Nations for the sorority.
