Sager/Simpson family.
Biographical notes:
The Sager family lived in the Essex County area at least from the late 19th century through the mid 20th century. Helen Simpson was the daughter of Elizabeth (Mrs. William?) Simpson. Helen married Ralph Sager of 46 Myrtle St., Newark, son of Ida Sager. After their marriage, they seemed to have continued to reside in or around Newark, at one point residing in East Orange. Other family members mentioned in the collection include Allen Sager, Lee H. Sager, Natalie Sager, and Rudolph H.F. Sager, although it is unclear how they are related to Ralph and Helen. There is also several references to members of the Conklin family.
From the description of Sager/Simpson Family Papers, ca. 1879-1964. (New Jersey Historical Society Library). WorldCat record id: 62312712
