Biographical notes:
Charles Doyle Stiles (1909-1990) and Millicent Chloe Landrith Stiles (1913-2000) were newspaper publishers, editors, and printers. They published "The Caldwell Messenger" newspaper in Caldwell, Kansas from 1942-1972. Both were very active in professional and local civic organizations.
