Biographical notes:

The paternal family of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Included are his grandfather, David Wright, a Baptist minister; and grandmother, Abigail Goddard Wright; their children, his aunt, Abigail Wright Bartlett Whitaker, a seamstress; his uncle David Russell Wright, a merchant; his uncle Thomas Goddard Wright, a Baptist minister; his father, William Carey Wright, a musician, teacher, and later a minister; and his aunt, Martha Hubbard Wright. Also represented in the papers are Frank Lloyd Wright's cousins: William Russell Wright and Minnie J. Wright, son and daughter of Thomas Goddard Wright and Julia A.S. Green Wright.
