Baffo, Giorgio
Biographical notes:
Giorgio Baffo (1694-1768), poet, was born in Venice of an ancient family. In his works he attacked the city and the clergy. The erotic nature of his poems meant that they were not published while he was alive. He died in Venice in 1768.
