Biographical notes:

John Joline ran the Nassau Hotel (also called Joline's) in Princeton, 1808-35; his son ran it 1835-36, and after a brief try in a hotel in New Brunswick, 1837-39, returned to the Nassau Hotel in 1845, and continued there until his removal to the American House Hotel in Trenton in 1857. Nassau Hotel was the predecessor of the present Nassau Inn.
