Biographical notes:
Graeme Roberts, husband of Cicely Mathews, was a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) radio presenter and actor in Northern Ireland. Roberts authored and presented numerous plays and short stories for Children’s Hour, Mathews’ children’s radio programme, which she ran from 1945-1964. Roberts also restarted a programme entitled Important To Us, which was a talk series on Irish affairs.
