Biographical notes:
Members of the Taylor family were active in San Antonio, Texas business and social circles.
Amanda Holman Cartwright and Lane Taylor were married in Sherman, Texas, moving to San Antonio in 1906. Lane Taylor was primarily involved in real estate, while Amanda Taylor was a founding member of the San Antonio Conservation, the San Antonio Museum Association, and was involved with many other organizations.
