Ohev-Ger (Filosseno) Luzzatto, 1829-1854, the son of Shmuel David Luzzatto (Shadal), was named after his father's work on Targum Onkelos. A disciple of his famous father, when he was 15 years old, he was already involved in deciphering inscriptions from the ancient Jewish cemetery in Padua. Later he became famous as a linguist and Orientalist.
