North Star Woolen Mill Company.
Biographical notes:
Woolen mill founded in 1864 and incorporated in 1881 in Minneapolis, Minn. In 1950, the Minneapolis operation was closed and the business centered in its Lima, Ohio, plant. In 1956, it moved from Lima to Sanford, Me.; it merged with Maine Spinning Co. in 1959.
