Biographical notes:
Oliver R. Grawe was an associate professor of mineralogy at the School of Mines and Metallurgy at The Pennsylvania State University from 1935 to 1946. From 1945 to 1957, he was the chairman of the Geology Department. He served as professor of geology from 1946 to 1964.
