John Cruickshank, James Aitken

Biographical notes:

John Cruikshank was professor of mathematics, University of Aberdeen, from 1829 to 1860, having been an assistant from 1817 to 1829.

James Aitken was son of John Aitken, seceder minister in Aberdeen, and was a student at Marischal College, Aberdeen from 1837 to 1841.
