Missionary, mission executive; born April 3, 1914; graduated from Wheaton College; was one of the founders of the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship in the United States; served as head of both the Australia in Inter-Varsity Fellowship (1954-1961) and United States IVCF (1961-1964); based in Costa Rica from 1966 to 1979, he supervised the student work of the Latin America Mission and also served at the organization's personnel officer; died in 1990.
