First Church of Christ (also known as Church in Medway, First Church, and First Church of Christ in the Old Grant) gathered 1714; in 1748 town divided into eastern and western precincts, with First Church gathered in eastern precinct and Second Church in western precinct in 1750; in 1885 town of Millis formed from the east precinct and First Church of Christ became First Church of Millis; extant as Church of West Medway, Medway, Mass.
