Born in Alton, Ill. Turner was graduate ofmthe University of Pennsylvania Medical School. Third President of Meharry Medical College. He served in the University of Chicago Medical Clinics, Billings Hospital. Was President of Tennessee State Anatomical Board, Consultant in Topical Medicine to Veterans Administration, Fellow of the American College of Physicians, member of the Board of Trustees of Meharry Medical College.
