Goodrich, Calvin
Biographical notes:
Calvin Goodrich was born February 27, 1874 in Chicago, Illinois. Educated at the University of Michigan and the University of Kansas, Goodrich began a first career as a journalist in Kansas, Toledo, Cleveland, and Detroit among other cities. Beginning in 1924, he then devoted his career to malacology, becoming assistant curator then curator of mollusks at the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology. He retired from his position in 1944. He died November 7, 1954.
